Hard to believe the incredible Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, the ‘unfinished cathedral’ is actually nearing completion after almost 150 years under construction. Visiting Barcelona in previous years you could count over a hundred cranes on the building, but it seems there is only one left now, captured recently by choir member Charlotte.
Tredagh Singers are delighted to have been invited to perform at the Basilica de Sagrada Familia in October, at a festival of music to celebrate the completion of the cathedral and the centenary of the death of architect Antoni Gaudi. We are enjoying our summer break at the moment, but can’t wait to get back to singing in September when we will begin rehearsing for this great occasion of music, fun and friendship in beautiful Barcelona.
