Join Us On Our Journey

We provide a challenging and enjoyable singing environment to anyone in Drogheda and the surrounding area who would like to take part. You don’t need to be able to read music although it helps. There will be audition but nothing scary.

Our choir rehearses once a week on Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30pm in Scoil Oilibhéir Naofa Ballymakenny Road, Drogheda, with a break for the summer from June to September. If you would like to join us just turn up to a practice. We welcome new members at any time.

Tredagh Singers’ musical director is Geraldine Doggett. Geraldine recently completed her Diploma in Conducting (with distinction) from St.Patrick’s College, Drumcondra, Dublin.

Performing
Tredagh Singers are a mixed voiced choir from Drogheda, Co. Louth. For the past several years, the choir have been concentrating on performing big works for performance in Drogheda and surrounding areas.
Tradition
The choir host and perform in a Christmas concert every year in the Augustinian church in Drogheda, the proceeds of which go to charity. They are regularly invited to take part as guests in other concerts.
Recent Projects
Our most recent piece has been The Coronation Mass Mozart, the Little Jazz Mass by Bob Chilcott. Haydn’s Little Organ Mass, Vivaldi’s Gloria and Handel’s Messiah are also in the choir’s canon. Musical accompaniment for the performances of these works is provided by local musicians and solo singers.
